The team from Catania has shown with the Remothered series that survival horror does not have to come from Japan or the USA to really get under your skin. Foundation in Sicily
According to the official studio site, Stormind Games was founded in November 2016 by Antonio Cannata and Federico Laudani, coinciding with the announcement of Remothered: Tormented Fathers. They had already built the Firma Red Raion in 2014, which produces animated films for theme parks. Stormind was initially the little sister of Red Raion, today both companies are independent.
Antonio Cannata leads the studio as CEO, Federico Laudani takes care of the visual style as Art Director. From the very beginning, their goal was to build a strong gaming studio in Sicily so that young talents would not have to migrate abroad.
The breakthrough with Remothered
2018 appeared Remothered: Tormented FathersThe first game of the studio. The stealth horror about Rosemary Reed was awarded the best Italian game at the Italian Video Game Awards, and Stormind won the DStars Award as best new studio in the same year. 2020 followed with Remothered: Broken Porcelain the second part for PC and consoles.
Batora, A Quiet Place and Mafia
With Batora: Lost Haven, Stormind launched its first brand outside of horror in 2022, an action role-playing game with hack-and-slash and twin-stick elements. After that, the team worked on content for Dead by Daylight from Behaviour Interactive.
In 2024, A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead, developed by Stormind for Saber Interactive, was released. This is shown in in the oscill readersto downwards and in the oscillators.ography. Remothered: Red Nun's Legacy
With Remothered: Red Nun's Legacy Stormind returns to his roots. The third part takes place in a villa on Mount Etna, relies on stalker pursuits and hypnosis powers and is available for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2.
