Dead by Daylight Diablo: Lilith, Mephisto and Belial in the Fog

Dead by Daylight Diablo: Behaviour Interactive brings Lilith, Mephisto and Belial into the Fog. The Diablo Collection adds six new outfits for three Killers and three Survivors. As someone who has spent far too many nights in Sanctuary, I was genuinely excited about this collaboration.

The crossover between Dead by Daylight and Diablo was already announced in June 2026 around Dead by Daylight’s tenth anniversary. On October 23, 2026, Behaviour Interactive announced in the official Steam news that the Diablo Collection is now available. I’ll sum up which Killers and Survivors get a new look and what’s officially confirmed.

Dead by Daylight Diablo: What’s in the collection

The Diablo Collection isn’t a new chapter with its own characters, perks or maps, but a collection of outfits. Lilith, Mephisto and Belial appear as skins for existing Killers, and the heroes from Sanctuary as outfits for well-known Survivors. So nothing changes in terms of gameplay; you still play the familiar abilities of The Artist, The Nurse and The Dredge.

Behaviour describes the collection in the official announcement with the words „Mother of Sanctuary. Lord of Hatred. Lord of Lies. Hell is coming to The Fog.“ This refers to the three big villains of the Diablo series, who now appear in the Entity’s Fog. According to Behaviour, the collection draws on 30 years of Diablo history.

The Killer outfits: Lilith, Mephisto and Belial

At the center is Lilith, the Mother of Sanctuary and main character of Diablo IV. She appears as a Visceral Outfit for The Artist. Her father Mephisto, the Lord of Hatred, becomes an Ascended Outfit for The Nurse. Belial, the Lord of Lies, also comes as an Ascended Outfit and transforms The Dredge.

What I particularly like is that Behaviour relies on the familiar voices. According to the official announcement, Caroline Faber, Steve Blum and Ray Porter once again voice Lilith, Mephisto and Belial. For Diablo fans, that’s a nice detail, because Lilith in particular lives off her voice.

In my view, the choice of Killers fits well. The Artist works with crows and a dark aesthetic, which suits Lilith and her wings. The Nurse already floats eerily across the map, and The Dredge, as a creature of darkness, is a good fit for the Lord of Lies.

The Survivor outfits

The Survivors get new gear too. Three well-known hero classes from Diablo come into the game as Very Rare outfits: The Barbarian’s Plight for David King, The Sorcerer’s Perspective for Zarina Kassir and The Necromancer’s Duty for Taurie Cain.

This lets you flee from the demons of Hell in a match as a Barbarian, Sorcerer or Necromancer. It’s a funny reversal, because in Diablo you’re usually the one hunting the demons.

Trailer for the Diablo Collection

For the launch, Behaviour released an official trailer showing all six outfits. There’s also a behind-the-scenes video with the voice actors.

Release and price

Behaviour announced the Diablo Collection as available in the official Steam news on October 23, 2026. The official announcement doesn’t give an exact launch date or price. As soon as Behaviour or Blizzard publish official prices, I’ll add them here.

My take

For me, Dead by Daylight Diablo is one of the most fitting collaborations in a while. The dark world of Sanctuary and the Entity’s Fog go together perfectly. I find it a bit of a shame that there are only outfits instead of new Killers with their own abilities. I could easily have imagined Lilith as a standalone Killer.
